INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PROJECTS
INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PROJECTS
I’m a senior instructional designer specializing in employee enablement and internal training experiences that align with business goals. My work blends strategy, systems thinking, and design to build scalable learning solutions that make a real impact on performance, onboarding, and employee development.
In recent years, I’ve led initiatives that modernize how employees engage with training—designing interactive LMS experiences, developing performance management toolkits, and crafting content that meets learners where they are. Whether I’m creating certification learning plans, building out onboarding programs, or partnering with HR teams on change enablement, I approach every project with a learner-first mindset and a focus on clarity, consistency, and long-term usability.
My path to this work began in education, where I first discovered the power of well-designed digital learning. That foundation led me to pursue a Master’s in Instructional Technology and take on increasingly strategic roles in both nonprofit and corporate environments. I now support cross-functional initiatives that span the employee lifecycle—from onboarding and systems training to performance conversations and leadership development.
Below, you’ll find samples of my work including training toolkits, project plans, LMS page designs, and video resources that reflect my design approach and commitment to quality learning experiences.
Note: The samples below reflect earlier work and foundational projects. While I’ve continued to build more advanced and large-scale learning solutions in my current role, much of that content is proprietary. I’d be happy to discuss recent work, tools, and processes in more detail upon request.

Overview of Tasks
Using the Lambda theme for Moodle, I coded the homepage you see to the left. This is the landing page that all our course users (5,000+ since we started online learning options in the summer of 2019.
I created detailed written instructions and How-To videos to help course participants navigate their courses, since for many, this was their first venture into online learning. How do I know this? I worked with a team of consultants and created an extensive pre and post survey to gather key information from our participants. The learnings from the pilot surveys helped me identify key areas to update before we moved to full implementation.
Learning Management System: Content Designer and Creator
I designed, developed, and facilitated a 12 hour, self-paced ELA course called Tackling the Text. Co-designed four other courses: Foundational Skills 101, Purposeful Planning, Building Educator Content Knowledge, and Improving Reading for Older Students. In addition, I designed, developed, and facilitated our facilitator training program. Explore sample highlights below, which include a job aid, project plan, and other training resources.
Course Facilitator Training Program
I developed and implemented a course facilitator training program consisting of a detailed project plan, an interactive Moodle course focusing on ensuring objectives and assessments align, as well as a Moodle How-to Guide for Beginners.
These are videos I created and embedded in the Course Facilitator Training Program detailed above. These videos were part of an asynchronous course for employees at the company I worked in to take prior to building a course.
Instructional How-to Guide (Just-in-Time Resource)
On AchievetheCore.org, we have a suite of resources to help teachers write text-dependent questions. I compiled the key take-aways from all the separate resources and made the 5-page, Just-in-Time training resource you see below.
